Ongoing research in the group is centered around (a) the synthesis of new materials (coordination compounds, dense and porous coordination polymers, inorganics), (b) the high-pressure chemistry of soft materials, (c) the barocaloric properties of soft hybrid and molecular matter and (d) the application of information theory in the complexity analysis of condensed crystalline matter.  

The group is led by Prof. Dr. G. Kieslich, with S. A. Hallweger and L. Sippach as current PhD students.
